Judy Kanthack first learned to weave in Westcliffe, Colorado where she took courses each winter with Jeri Duran. Judy wove rag rugs, Ripsmatta Patterns, and shawls — she also chose her own yarns and did her own color coordinating. She joined the Futuros Ancestral cohort because she wants to grow in her weaving practice, "I now have an old rug loom, a table top loom, and some yarns and books — so I would love to interact with others, listen, and learn."
