Alexandra loves plants, animals, and expressing creativity in many different forms. But she has a special love of fiber arts and the history behind them. 

She is self-taught and started learning to weave two years ago — using small basic hand looms. She also enjoys crocheting. 

Alexandra says that weaving "feels like a beautiful and skillful way to connect with a more natural way of life. I love purposeful art and want learn to create it better." She is passionate about learning fiber arts and would "love the opportunity to learn the art of weaving in the most respectful and historic ways possible."
